Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and guidelines for using PixelPress hosting services. By using our services, you agree to follow this AUP. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.


1. Prohibited Content

You may NOT host, store, or distribute:

  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, trojans, or harmful scripts

  • Phishing pages, fake login pages, or identity theft material

  • Illegal or copyrighted content without proper authorization

  • Child exploitation material (zero tolerance)

  • Hate speech, violent content, or harmful propaganda

  • Adult content (if prohibited on your hosting plan)

  • Any material violating Bangladesh law or international regulations


2. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use PixelPress services for:

  • Sending spam, mass unsolicited emails, or bulk mailing without permission

  • Initiating DDoS attacks, hacking attempts, or security breaches

  • Running bots, crawlers, or tools that overload server resources

  • Resource abuse such as excessive CPU, RAM, I/O, or bandwidth usage

  • Running cryptocurrency mining software or mining pools

  • Distributing pirated software, cracks, keygens, or warez

  • Hosting proxies, VPNs, or anonymizing services used for abuse


3. Email & Messaging Rules

You must NOT:

  • Send unsolicited marketing emails

  • Operate mailing lists without proper opt-in

  • Use purchased email lists or scraped data

  • Send emails that violate CAN-SPAM or GDPR

PixelPress actively monitors outbound email abuse.


4. Security Requirements

Customers must:

  • Maintain secure passwords

  • Keep scripts, CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, etc.) updated

  • Use reputable plugins and themes

  • Regularly scan for malware

PixelPress may disable compromised accounts to protect server integrity.


5. Resource Usage Limits

To ensure server stability:

  • Shared hosting cannot be used for file storage, backups, or archiving

  • Excessive cron jobs or background processes are prohibited

  • Tasks requiring high CPU/RAM must use VPS or Dedicated Server plans

We may notify you if an upgrade is required.


6. Network & Server Abuse

Strictly prohibited:

  • Port scanning

  • Open relays

  • Fake headers

  • IP spoofing

  • Flooding or network attacks

Such violations may result in immediate termination.


7. Consequences of Violation

If you violate this AUP, PixelPress may:

  • Suspend or terminate your account

  • Remove offending content

  • Report illegal activities to authorities

  • Ban your domain, IP, or server access

No refunds are issued for AUP violations.


8. Reporting Abuse

If you suspect abuse on our network, contact:

9. Changes to AUP

PixelPress may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
